Quite simply Farnham RDA could not function without volunteers.
We are a team of about 25 volunteers who meet just south of Alton, Hants
Volunteers are essential in every area of RDA life. From coaches to cake bakers people support RDA in many ways and we always need more volunteers. Whatever skills you can bring, giving your time will mean that more people with special needs can enjoy the therapy and fun that that horse riding provides. Volunteering with RDA can be rewarding and fulfilling, and we want you to also benefit from your time with us as much as the people who ride.
We operate Friday mornings during term time only making volunteering with us ideal for someone who is self-employed, works part-time or for a stay-at-home parent who needs to keep half-terms and holidays free! RDA is a diverse organisation and we need a wide range of skills. We are at our best when we bring together people of all ages backgrounds and abilities. Obviously, we need some people with equine experience however many volunteers have no equine knowledge when they join RDA and therefore, we provide training where applicable. If you are keen to learn and like socialising with likeminded people RDA is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience and some of our volunteers have been involved for many years.
We are looking forward to welcoming you anytime so why not contact us here today.
